Denmark has set an ambitious and radical goal to upgrade the totality of its mainline network. Alstom is there to set this ambition to life and has started the deployment of state-of-the-art ERTMS level 2 baseline 3 signalling technology both on the trackside infrastructure and train fleets. This technology will drastically improve the passenger experience by reducing the number of delays and increasing transport capacity.

Alstom Denmark is looking for part-time support on the projects we have in Denmark. You will be a part of the engineering department and report directly to the Electrical Team Leader. The position will be based in Copenhagen.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • To support the Electrical Team Leader;
  • To perform survey on site (inside the train) and define the technical solution for the Electrical part;
  • To review Electrical Principles from the system team;
  • To produce Electrical schematics under E3S;
  • To define and industrialize harnesses and terminal board;
  • To ensure all the Electrical design constraints of each solution are respected;
  • To report any failure of the Electrical solution during the train fitment in order to address the change in short term period;

Skills and education

The person we are looking for studies for a Master degree in Engineering school / university, with a specialization or oriented in Electrical design. It is desired that you have knowledge of railways and E3S. PPPB and L-AUS certificates are an asset. 

As a person are you rigor, transparent, team-oriented and have excellent communication skills.You are also fluent in English. Danish and French proficiency would also be considered a plus.
