Skills \u0026amp; Experience:
\u0026middot; This individual has a minimum of 8 years of experience as Field Service Wind Technician.
\u0026middot; Minimum 5 years' experience working on Ropes and or working at heights of 250 ft and above.
\u0026middot; Active Global Wind Organization (GWO) Certified Credentials Preferred.
\u0026middot; Superior technical writing, pedagogical, organizational and group facilitation skills.
\u0026middot; Proficient with electrical test equipment and reading schematics.
\u0026middot; Agile in Spotting project inefficiencies and working quickly with collaboration to address them.
GWO Training \u0026amp; Development:
\u0026middot; Responsible for classroom, onsite, virtual and hands-on education for our employees and customers, both at the Training Center and in the field
\u0026middot; Preparing, distributing, implementing, and delivering a concise theoretical \u0026amp; hands on GWO modules related to Basic Safety, Advance rescue, technical training - Electromechanical \u0026amp; Composite Courses for new and returning field technicians.
\u0026middot; Conduct Advanced Blade Repair Skill assessments on prospective experienced blade technicians during the pre-hire process to ensure they have the experience they claim.
\u0026middot; Maintain tracking and storage of required training session documentation.
\u0026middot; Building annual training program for all employees, creating teaching plans and updating any material changes on the training requirements brought by GWO.
\u0026middot; Responsible for maintaining clean \u0026amp; safe classrooms, practical training area, tools, equipment and materials.
\u0026middot; Ensure all new hire and active employees have strong commitment to safety by providing training in building a foundation of QHSE knowledge.
\u0026middot; Support other company trainers with instructor certification and other EHS initiatives/activities.
\u0026middot; Promote Quality \u0026amp; Safety Protocols, Process and Procedures.
\u0026middot; Prepare, Implement, and report training KPI's
\u0026middot; Support in the Group QHSE Personnel when Near Misses and Incidents occur.
People \u0026amp; Leadership Skills:
\u0026middot; Recruit new trainer, Mentor new employees \u0026amp; supports employee needs, requests, and issues as and when they arise.
\u0026middot; Willingness to manage tasks outside normal job scope.
\u0026middot; Provide Input for the operational budget focused on establishing cost savings and effectiveness.
\u0026middot; Can take up physically strenuous tasks like performing the duties of this job - is regularly required to long periods of standing while teaching a class.
\u0026middot; Collaborate with Technical Program Manager, Operations \u0026amp; Project Managers to drive high achievement and continuous improvement approach.
\u0026middot; Able to demonstrate good presentation and communication skills.
\u0026middot; Can design/develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
\u0026middot; Good time management skills.
\u0026middot; Strong MS Office Skills-Word, Excel, Power point \u0026amp; Outlook.
\u0026middot; Ability to maintain a valid passport \u0026amp; travel 25-35% of the time. Must possess a clean driver's license and be able to pass drug testing.
