Our Planning Information Management team, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow, is seeking a Land Referencer to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the largest Land Referencing business in the UK, to make a meaningful and lasting contribution to the success of high-profile infrastructure projects across the UK
A typical week would include:
As part of our Land Services team you will combine office and on-site working to support the delivery of projects through the identification, consultation and negotiation of Interested Parties, combining skills in GIS and data management. Full training will be provided however the successful candidate will exhibit an understanding of land referencing processes, understand the value of accurate data management and provide evidence of working under tight time-frames as part of a busy professional working environment.
We'd love to hear from you if you have: A degree in Geography or similar Client facing experience Full drivers licence An understanding of data security protocols The ability to travel and undertake site visits The ability to follow clear instructions to tight time frames with limited supervision Able to work in a team well and delegate work effectively Accurate record keeping Excellent time management Positive approach to learning new skills and systems Able to prioritize workloads effectively Excellent attention to detail Good IT Skills with a strong knowledge of Microsoft packages including MS Word and Excel Understand the importance of handling confidential information
