Our client is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology. Their diverse product offering comprises intelligent solar inverters, battery storage, backup systems, EV charging, and complete home energy management ecosystems.

Our client has engaged us to find a Sales Manager to work closely with their State Sales Managers and Distribution partners to proactively contact prospective partners and existing clients (via phone & email) to increase the sales of their products. You will be responsible for lead generation efforts to qualify new business prospects, new business development across a diverse national customer base, technical sales support, new account onboarding and customer retention activities.

You will be responsible for:
  • Cultivating and following up on distribution and solar PV installer leads.
  • Working closely with distributors by developing a strong network as well as providing timely benefit, value and product training.
  • Following-up on first time installers/purchasers to ensure a smooth introduction of our client’s processes and system to their business to facilitate further sales.
  • Obtaining names and contact information of potential customers from sales team, inbound inquiries and purchased lists.
  • Making Outbound calls to new business development targets to generate strong new business leads for State Managers.
  • Identifying customer needs and providing appropriate solutions and competitive positioning via up-sell of additional products and services.
  • Assisting with the onboarding of new accounts by training key customer personnel on our client’s systems and processes.
  • Developing great relationships with other our client’s departments and taking the lead to resolve issues.
  • Consistently providing advanced, courteous and professional & focused assistance to customers.
  • Maintaining CRM database with leads and follow up, as well as tracking revenue associated with leads.




What you need to bring:

  • 3 years of relevant experience in inside sales, promotions, telemarketing
  • Experience with solar industry and related products/services- a must!
  • Experience in sales and marketing principles and strategiesAbility to identify and reach the right person live – decision makers.
  • Ability to influence sales through telemarketing efforts
  • Excellent communication skills – written & verbal
  • Experience with CRM including SalesForce.com
  • Proven track record in sales results from telemarketing experience
  • Demonstrate high energy, self-motivation and persistence
