We're looking for a Transaction Analyst for a vertically integrated energy firm with significant capital allocated to drive solar and storage projects in the UK - they're rapidly growing their entrepreneurial distributed energy team, so it's an exciting time to join.

You will have extensive involvement in origination and execution of acquisitions of ready-to-build and early-stage solar and battery storage projects, and structuring partnerships or JVs to support the pipeline.

The role:

This is a broad Transaction/Investment Analyst role, where you will support project valuations and bids/offers, coordinate due diligence and governance, and help negotiate terms and legal documentation for key deals across the entire deal lifecycle, including:
  • Origination
  • Value and Risk Analysis 
  • Risk management
  • Due diligence, governance and legal documentation

Ideally, we are looking for an ambitious professional with experience of the solar and storage market at a project developer, investment principal, advisory firm or investment bank.

Essential requirements:
  • Financial, project development or legal background, who are interested in getting involved in transactions.
  • Background in M&A, due diligence and / or project development
  • Understanding of the acquisition deal lifecycle, typical due diligence, governance and legal documentation
  • Understanding of financial valuation and returns
  • Ability to comfortably navigate investment financial models
  • Experience reviewing information provided by sellers or consultants and identifying red flags
  • Experience in renewables, including solar and storage is strongly preferred
  • Experience drafting offers and commercial heads of terms
  • High-quality academic background


Flexible office location in the UK, London is preferred.


The role is offered with competitive base salary up to £56,000 + bonus & attractive benefits, negotiable based on experience and value, meaning that for exceptional candidates, this figure could be higher.
