If you are an ENGINEERING professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! This role is an exciting opportunity to support the HVACR Technologies business Based in our SIDNEY, OH location, you will manage facilities projects in domestic and international locations including facility renovations, facility expansions, new facility construction, and infrastructure upgrades to support manufacturing and lab processes. You will also manage projects from start to finish including budgeting, design, bidding, construction management, and closeout. You will ensure compliance with all governmental and building code requirements and support Emerson's goals for efficient and effective production facilities.


Develop project drawings and specifications for bidding and construction.
Develop and track project budgets and schedules.
Manage construction work ensuring adherence to project specifications, drawings, and construction quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all governmental and building code requirements.
Provide engineering technical support for Emerson plants on facilities and infrastructure issues.
Manage facility maintenance and repair work at the Sidney facilities.
You readily distinguish between what’s relevant and what’s unimportant to make sense of complex situations. You actively seek input from pertinent sources to make timely and well-informed decisions. You show a tremendous amount of initiative in tough situations and are exceptional at spotting and seizing opportunities. You layout a thorough schedule and list steps for achieving objectives. You model collaboration across the organization. You anticipate customer needs and provide services that are beyond customer expectations.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management plus five (5) years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Demonstrated track record of managing large facilities projects
Strong organizational and communication skills, demonstrated leadership skills, and excellent problem-solving skills
A minimum of five (5) years of specific facilities engineering experience is required
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.
Ten (10) years of related experience, minimum of seven (7) years in facilities engineering
Demonstrated expertise in the areas of HVAC systems, boiler systems, chiller systems, process piping systems, or electrical distribution systems (480V and lower)
Experience working with building automation systems
Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit
Proficient in MS Project and MS Office programs

This role has the flexibility of a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. The newly renovated Sidney campus has 1M square feet of manufacturing floor with an additional 120k square feet of leading-edge lab facilities. This location is the headquarters for the air conditioning and cold chain businesses.
