The world needs innovators and problem solvers who turn challenges into greater opportunities. We have an insatiable curiosity about solutions to move people and goods safely and efficiently across the globe. From rail systems mobilising accessible transit, to ports linking land and sea – when it comes to connecting the people and places of tomorrow, the future of transport depends on us.

We are looking for an innovator and problem solver with Rail Design experience to join our Perth Rail Business and help deliver value to our clients. The primary role is as a rail engineer focused on rail alignment design from feasibility and concept through to detailed design. This extends to design reviews, value-engineering and collaborative problem-solving for design and project challenges.

The role will interface closely with client technical teams and contracting teams in project delivery. The role will include client facing activities during both the project delivery phase and in the management of close, ongoing, strategic client relationships aimed at securing ongoing workload. The role provides input to tender and bid activities to estimate resourcing (time effort) required to complete design and project related activities.

  • Civil Engineering Degree
  • Significant experience in Planning, design and delivery of rail infrastructure works.
  • Current knowledge of engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications associated with rail infrastructure projects
  • Ability to develop proposals and build client relationships
