If you are a Manufacturing professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Nuevo Laredo, Mexico facility, you will be responsible for all plant operations and functional departments to provide world-class products and support to our customers.
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement strategy to ensure the plants meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPI) related to safety, customer & supplier service levels, backlog, lead-time, cost, and inventory management.
  • Manage and direct operational departments including manufacturing, quality, logistics, product engineering, and maintenance teams for the facilities assigned
  • Manage the efficient execution of customer shipments by tracking and reporting the shipment schedule, backlog, President’s Operations Report (POR), and the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for the facilities assigned
  • Coach, develop, mentor, and motivate team to foster a positive high-performance work environment
  • Conduct gap and continuous improvement analysis for department personnel and implement changes as required to right size organization and align with business objectives
  • Develop and drive manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory strategies to achieve gross profit and operating profit improvement targets

You create credible pictures and vision of possibilities that will create sustainable value.  You ask the right questions to accurately analyze situations.  You break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions.  You readily tackle tough assignments.  You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.  You form diverse teams to create a mix of styles, perspectives, and experience.

  • BS Degree
  • Minimum of 5 year of experience in manufacturing operations; B2B centered company
  • Knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, six sigma methodology, and ISO 9001 required
  • Ability to easily adapt to changes in priorities and provide direction and motivation for team members with focus on customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to details, and results driven
  • MBA Preferred
