Job Description

Geotech Pty Ltd is a provider of specialist Piling and Ground Engineering services across a broad range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.  As part of the ACCIONA group of companies, Geotech enjoys its position as one of Australia’s most respected and diverse engineering and construction companies.

Geotech are looking to engage a Project Manager to join the team in Perth. The Project Manager reports to the Construction Manager and is responsible for the planning, execution and closing of our projects, as well as ensuring that contractual and profitability obligations are met and maintained. 

With an already secured strong project pipeline, your key accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage a portfolio of piling and groundworks projects
  • Communicate effectively, with the ability to discuss a wide range of issues to people across all levels of the organisation
  • Manage, lead and coach employees within your team and those involved in the projects under management
  • Interpret and read relevant technical specifications
  • Quote and estimate to ensure accurate costing and forecasting of the project
  • Prepare, manage and track budgets and financial reports
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to build relationships and assist with the delivery of the project objectives
  • Actively solve problems and implement corrective action relating to the ongoing management of projects.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Engineering Degree (or similar)
  • Related experience as a Project Manager/ Project Engineer in engineering disciplines such as Piling, Groundworks and/or Civil - ideally with significant exposure to the WA infrastructure environment.
  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Construction Induction Training (CIT/’White Card’), formerly a ‘Red Card’), obtained via face-to-face training, not online
  • Current Driver Licence
