You will have the chance to work on the growing our Project Management and Construction Management business in the Northwest, based in Boise, ID. This will utilize your Construction Management expertise to win projects and lead teams in a safe and efficient delivery – from start to finish. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living. 

The Construction Project Manager has responsibility for safety, technical, contractual, budget and schedule activities on medium to large transit and/or highway and bridge projects.  The CPM may have responsibility for management and contract performance across multiple disciplines or projects.  The successful candidate will be a seller -doer, self-starter, an excellent communicator and presenter, and have proven experience performing the duties below.

•Will serve as Project Manager/Contract Manager/Construction Manager and task order lead
•May supervise project staff including: Resident Engineers, Construction Manager, Office Engineers, Inspectors, and others
•Monitors project budgets, financial commitments and expenditures
•Supervise project personnel and assign duties to them and provides as needed training
•Performs constructability and bidability reviews
•Communicates project status to supervisor and others
•Monitors project budgets, financial commitments and expenditures
•Participates if required in monthly project review meetings (OPRs)
•Manages and coordinates sub consultant participation on projects
•Develops and implements staffing plans in accordance with contract and project requirements
•Develops staffing projection and trend/exposure reports
•Reviews / approves invoices to the client
•Conducts client expectation surveys
•Schedules Customer Satisfaction and Quality Surveys
•Attends Project Status meetings with Client
•Assures performance of project personnel meets Client needs and expectations
•Actively participates in professional organizations and other networking venues to advance Jacobs’ relationships and business development
•Participate in strategy sessions
•Attend prospective client and project stakeholder meetings
•Lead or assist proposal efforts
•Lead or participate on interview teams


What You Will Need:
•10 years of experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization required
•10 years of construction management experience in the construction of new and widening of roads, highways, freeways and bridges such as grade separations and interchanges is required
•Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship 

Ideally You Will Also Have:

•Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering 
•Professional Engineer (PE) license or other professional qualification 
Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting. Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs. in the form of supplies, drawings, etc. Longest distance carried of 50 feet. Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same. No foot controls necessary. Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
