We are now looking for the next possible date for a

Workshop Coordinator (m/f/d)

to join our team in Hamburg Schlenzigstrasse. The position is a permanent role.

As Workshop Coordinator you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for planning, coordination and execution of complex workshop assignments and their instructions
  • Planning and preparation of necessary work, resources, suppliers and spare parts for service orders
  • Procurement of necessary goods and services from our suppliers
  • Planning/control of cost/schedules according offers and necessary adjustments
  • Monitoring of services until completion as well as processing and documentation  
  • Fulfilment of our service promise (quality, time, costs) according to our offer and customer satisfaction
  • Contact for workshop and customers during the order
  • Preparation of all order information and forward to Administration / Support Coordination for invoicing
  • Usage of Workshop / Field Services processes, systems, working methods, tools as well as local / global templates, documents and reports
  • Providing ideas to improve processes and products       

The below will enable you to shine in this role: 

  • Completed technical vocational education with commercial affinity
  • Additional engineering qualification as a master craftsman / technician
  • Very good knowledge and experience of repair of large diesel engines, 
  • especially 2 Stroke / 4 Stroke, e.g. Cylinder Heads, Pumps, Liners etc.
  • MWM / Deutz / Wärtsilä – Knowledge is an advantage 
  • Knowledge of machining / mechanical production
  • Understanding of operations / processes in workshops
  • Experience in planning and supervising workshop activities
  • Service readiness, “hands on” mentality and customer orientation
  • Cost awareness & efficiency
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
  • German and English language skills (fluent, both written and spoken)
  • SAP - MS Office – Sales Force / CRM should not be foreign words

Technical Coordinator Workshop (m/w/d)

Was sind Ihre Aufgaben:

  • Verantwortung für die Planung, Koordination und Ausführung von komplexen Workshop Aufträgen sowie deren Anleitung
  • Planung und Vorbereitung der erforderlichen Arbeit, Ressourcen, Lieferanten, Ersatzteile für die Ausführung von Service Aufträgen
  • Beschaffung notwendiger Waren und Dienstleistungen von Lieferanten
  • Planung und Kontrolle der Kosten und Zeitpläne gemäß Angebot und deren Anpassung
  • Komplexe Service Aufträge komplett bis zur Fertigstellung anbieten, bearbeiten und dokumentieren
  • Erfüllung des vereinbarten Leistungsversprechens (Qualität, Zeit, Kosten) gemäß Angebot gegenüber dem Kunden sowie der Kundenzufriedenheit bei der Serviceausführung
  • Ansprechpartner für Werkstatt und Kunden während des Auftrages
  • Vorbereitung / Übergabe der Auftragsinformationen in enger Zusammenarbeit mit  Administration / Support Coordination zur Rechnungslegung
  • Anwendung vorgesehener Workshop / Field Service Prozesse, Systeme, Arbeitsweisen, Werkzeuge sowie lokaler / globaler Vorlagen, Dokumente und Reporte
  • Einbringung von Ideen zur Prozess- und Produktverbesserungen und deren Abstimmung 

Was wir von Ihnen erwarten:

  • Abgeschlossene technische Berufsausbildung mit kaufmännischer Affinität
  • Zusätzliche Qualifikation zum Meister / Techniker
  • Sehr gute Kenntnisse / Erfahrungen im Bereich der Instandsetzung von 
  • Großdiesel-Motoren sowie deren Komponenten, 
  • speziell 2-Takt / 4-Takt, z.B. Zylinderköpfe, (Einspritz-) Pumpen, Laufbuchsen, 
  • MWM / Deutz / Wärtsilä – Kenntnisse von Vorteil 
  • Kenntnisse im Bereich Maschinierung / mechanische Fertigung
  • Verständnis für Vorgänge und Prozesse im Bereich Werkstatt
  • Erfahrung in Planung und Betreuung von Werkstatt Aktivitäten
  • Absolute Servicebereitschaft, „Hands on“ Mentalität und Kundenorientierung
  • Kostenbewusstsein & Effizienz
  • Gute Team- & Kommunikationsfähigkeiten 
  • Deutsch und Englisch Kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, fließend 
  • SAP – MS Office – Sales Force / CRM sollten keine Fremdworte sein
