Engineer 1 Technical Support in Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines

Description The main task for this role is to generate support tools and ad hoc reports used in technical customer support team. The support tools and reports are pulling data from various database in a rather complex IT infrastructure (Eco-System). This requires a strong analytic approach, ingenuity and good IT skills. The BI tool domo will be the main platform used for the tools, but other platforms can occur. An example of a support tool could be identifying, none performing IoT devices in our Eco-system. The tool will enable other Level 1 & 2 supporters to quickly get an overview of performance of a single or multiple unit. Quick comprehensive responses to our customers is essential. An example of a report could be a customer asking for a certain overview of a part of his devices, based of software version and other device variables. This role will work closely together with the engineering team who is the developers of our ProAct cloud solution. The idea is to make a link between our backend L3 engineering support team, and our L1 & L2 customer facing support team with improved support tools we want to\:
  • Enable our L1 & L2 to give quick Customer responses with high quality
  • Minimize the number of support tickets escalated to L3 support
This role will also be a part of the L1/L2 support team and respond directly to support tickets from customers. Responsibilities   Main responsible for\: •   Support tools •   Training team members in support tools •   Automated / frequent reporting to customers KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES •   Show responsibility for support tools •   Respond to customer/end-user issues in accordance with SLA •   Train colleges in support tools •   Align support tools with engineering •   Provide persistence ownership on all assigned service issues and make sure that they are closed in accordance with our processes. •   Provide technical support for the sales department •   Support customer trials



Requirements • IT or Engineering Graduate preferred • Minimum 3 years experience from similar role • Data analytics • Experience with customer support direct customer contact. • Software / hardware troubleshooting. • Ability to grasp technical concepts hands on  analytic experience • The ability to analyze, model and interpret data • Problem-solving skills • A methodical and logical approach • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines • Accuracy and attention to detail • Programming languages, such as SQL • Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports • working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate) • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time • rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers • Customer service minded • Professional approach • Ability to train other technician, end-users, sales people • Ability to lead meetings • Flexible approach • Self-motivated • Team player•
