Role Summary\:

The Source to Pay (S2P) Initiatives IT Leader will focus on providing leadership and direction for the implementation of the tools identified for the S2P Initiatives scope.
The Lead will be responsible for partnering and supporting the business, cross functional teams and external suppliers where required for stabilize Sourcing linked tools.

You will be involved in designing, preparing, documenting, training & managing the S2P project(s) requirements to create a robust source to pay process landscape.

 Essential Responsibilities\: In the roll of the Source to Pay IT Leader, you will\:
  • Lead, guide and execute initiatives supporting the global DS S2P IT landscape alongside the DT teams to ensure full project transparency linked to new GE Separation tools
  • Review project plan to ensure feasibility of system design interface to existing processes systems
  • Responsible for recommending & ensuring new tools are implemented using streamlined/simplified design to reduce system design complexity
  • Deliver best in class system designs to support 'Days to Pay, Pay on Time, Holds reduction and transaction cost' of Baker Hughes
  • Interface with Baker Hughes AP COE and exiting Global Operations support teams to unravel designs and accesses to ERPs
  • Implement required business controls and monitoring mechanisms as part of the S2P initiatives design
  • Support assigned S2P programs ensuring positive impact to the business, with minimal disruption, to drive adoption and systems ease of use with measurable outcomes
  • Coordinate required support activities, such as internal and external communications,   training plans and future landscape mapping
  • Become a subject matter expert on the design and implementation for assigned area.
  • Support design and mapping of new tools to analytics/metrics requirements to ensure business data requirements are transparent and measurable outcomes
  • Lead the technical fit/gap, and requirements for identified S2P processes and solutions and partner with relevant stakeholders to close/resolve process gaps.
  • Maintain S2P/AP landscape of tools and solutions implemented at all times
  • Trouble shoot and drive resolution for process and technology defects
  • Support testing, training, and implementation of S2P tools in DS
  • Support business requirement gathering, training, SIT & UAT needs with relevant Business Process Leads and Work stream Leaders
  • Support training of Super Users and business leads during the implementation phase to ensure comprehensive understanding of new tools/processes
  • Support stakeholder management with regards to engagement, change, and funding.  Push global standards & demonstrate Go Lean to Stay Fast principles.
  • Support business stabilization efforts post go-live to ensure business risks are reduced/eliminated
  • Drive KPIs through successful implementation of processes and practices, including tracking progress and report out on the responsible work stream
  • Manage escalations, while proactively monitoring risks to implement corrective and/or preventive actions
  • Ensure all required documentation for new processes and systems are in place with end users and super users to drive end user training support
  • Drive KPIs through successful implementation of processes and practices, including tracking progress and report out on the responsible work stream
  • Contribute to the improvement of project management methodology leveraging industry and internal best practices to standardize collaboration operations across the implementation efforts
  • Work with key functional partners to continue to develop the strategy, prioritize goals & objectives to optimize process while maintaining or exceeding current standards
  • Manage supplier collaboration linked metrics and analytics to identify opportunities, trends and improve usage
Qualifications/Requirements\:
  • Bachelors degree relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Source to Pay functions
  • 3 years of strong IT/project management experience, working knowledge of project management tools.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP modules (Specifically MM/AP/FI).
  • Knowledge of Source to pay tools used across the GE & Baker Hughes businesses.
  • Experience leading IT implementations and project management.
  • Experience in Sourcing or Supply Chain management
