Electrical & Instrument Project Engineer in Geelong, VIC, Australia

We are currently seeking an experienced Instrument & Electrical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team of high achievers at one of our client sites based in Geelong.  In this role you will be required to take projects from concept to close out, you will be involved with a fully integrated team with the customer providing direct access to the customers leadership team. 


Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.

  • Act as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the clients expectations are satisfied.

  • Ensure the project conforms to the clients approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory requirements.

 


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Instrument & electrical engineering discipline background.

  • Strong focus on in-field project management
  • Experience in refining would be highly regarded
  • Ability to make a measurable difference to the customers operations in a short period of time

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fantastic relationship building and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to coach and lead an integrated project team

  • Highly organised and have a self-starter attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously and be a good team player
