Regional Systems Specialist,EcoSys,




Purpose:
 

Optimizeproject delivery through its lifecycle, provide system implementation planning,project and user set-up, configuration and training for EcoSys on MajorProjects, Services or Improve projects. Develop and maintain system standard build, application security,documentation, reporting, systems integrations, and participate in new releasetesting and rollout.        


Responsibilities:
 Project Implementation
  • Participate in project discussions, investigateand understand project requirements, and take the lead with the development andadherence to the Project Information Management Plan.  Revise the plan as needed when changes occurthat affect the use of EcoSys
  • Set up and configure projects and users inEcoSys and related systems
  • Deliver presentations to the project team asrequired
  • Develop training schedules and deliver requiredtraining
  • Maintain a strong working relationship and rapport with projects to ensure objectives are being met and solutions applied are effective




Projectand User Support

  • Provide EcoSys system support to projects andusers at 2nd and 3rd tier levels using Service Now
  • Proactively seek out ways to help projects andusers maximize efficiency using EcoSys
  • Monitor the use of EcoSys to ensure compliancewith global standards and that each functions activities support the next, andultimately support the required and effective use of EcoSys at all projectlocations (including site offices)
  • Perform system health checks throughout the project lifecycle and close out projects with lessons learned 
Training
  • Provide training to users online with globalstandards and project requirements
  • Develop and maintain training documentation 
New Release Testing and Implementation
  • Test all modules/functions used in the globalstandard configuration
  • Ensure projects will not be negatively impactedby the upgrade
  • Report issues to vendor for resolution asneeded expedite solutions
  • Plan and support production rollout
  • Communicate changes to the users
  • Monitor success post rollout manage issues 
Systems Knowledge and Continuous Improvement
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Contracts Systemin all modules and associated work processes
  • Maintain a high level of understanding offunctional work processes and procedures, overall EPC business, and projectexecution
  • Investigate ways to improve productivity,efficiency, or information availability and visibility for projects
  • Evaluate new system functionality and determine if fit for purpose 
Collaboration with the Business
  • Regular meetings with the Locations Functionalrepresentatives for EcoSys and Project Controls in the Americas region
  • Coordinate in-house education, promotion andawareness programs for project staff and business unit managers
  • Input to proposals and presentations with respect to our integrated execution capabilities at Worley
  • Develop Location Support Team Capability
  • Develop location support team capabilities forproject controls and implementation, training (train the trainer), and 2nd tiersupport (where location support teams are available, the global team is 3rdtier support for advanced issues).
  • Communicate regularly with location support teams regarding changes in System that may impact projects and users, and to understand the status of project implementation and usage effectiveness
  • Support Project Information Manager in planning and coordination of Project Delivery Systems configuration, implementation, integration and training during start-up of new projects as they apply to EcoSys and Project Controls systems



Job Specific Knowledge:
  • 5 years experience with EcoSys and/or ProjectControls usage, support, administration, and configuration
  • Comprehensive understanding of Project Controlsprinciples
  • Strong overall understanding of projectrequirements, deliverables and workflows
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations toboth internal and external stakeholders
 Industry Specific Experience:    
  • 5 years of relevant Project Controlsexperience; preferably using EcoSys
 Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
  • A recognised degree or equivalentqualification/experience     
HSE Capability:
  • Demonstrate behaviour and business practicescommensurate with a culture of worlds best health, safety, and environmentalperformance 
IT Skills:          
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
  • General knowledge of systems(operating systems, software installation, and configurations) 
People Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and efficient
  • Ability to apply intelligence and knowledge to problem solving and meet deadlines
  • Be able to coordinate work with other offices
  • Be a team player and able to work effectively in a virtual team
  • Be service oriented
  • Be proactive not reactive
