About the Role\:
We are looking for an Account Manager based in the Netherlands or Belgium, to represent Emerson in the Benelux region. This role entails searching and attaining new customers, by selling and promoting Emersons Machinery Health Management (MHM) product portfolio. Your work will be driven by defined sales targets.

Travel is a significant part of this role (at least 50% of the time) and in the remaining time you can choose to work from one of our offices or from your home.

About You\:
Your broad experience is condition monitoring & machinery protection systems within industries like Chemical, Oil & Gas, Terminals, Power or adjacent areas in the process systems business. You are able to meet or exceed order bookings and business objectives. Developing profitable new MHM business and growing share in existing base is your core task.

You continuously push yourself to achieve new goals and are not afraid to question the status quo by proposing creative solutions to problems. You seize opportunities and create competitive strategies in order to build and deliver solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations.

Maintaining and developing new and existing customers through high levels of service, in order to expand and strengthen the relationship, is what you do best.
In this role you will\:
  • Obtain maximum order bookings for all assigned products from your accounts.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with all buying influences.
  • Demonstrate and promote Emerson's condition monitoring and machinery protection systems. Acquire an overall knowledge of all Emerson Products and related equipment/services, their uses and applications, and a detailed working knowledge of the products which have the greatest sales potential for your accounts.
  • Identify new solution opportunities and communicate to cognizant groups.
  • Define budgets and analyze market situations with respect to expected growth and revenue for Emerson.


For succeeding in this position, you will need\:
  • At least 8-10 years relevant experience in sales.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent level in related engineering field.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English language. Knowledge of French would be an advantage.
  • Interest in industrial mechanical equipment • Minimum 5 years sales experience in condition monitoring & machinery protection systems (portable vibration monitoring systems, online protection & condition monitoring systems, wireless vibration monitoring solutions).
