The Client:

A market leading Blue Chip Oil & Gas organisation based in Aberdeen.

A recognised market leader with expertise and experience developed in the harsh and technically demanding environment of the offshore oil and gas industry in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, and West Africa and Caspian regions.

The Opportunity:

Our client is in the early stages of expanding their Purchasing team and therefore are seeking an experienced buyer who has had Involvement in the full supply chain cycle.

• You will be used to working on supply chain projects and have exposure to buying, expediting, materials control and material logistics;
• Ideally you will have proven experience across the full supply chain cycle and have a strong understanding of the Aberdeen market;
• The start date will commence end April/start May, but there is flexibility around this.

The Candidate:

• Strong experience in the Aberdeen market is important;
• Proven experience in supply-chain across 1) Buying 2) Expediting 3) Material Control and 4. Logistics (materials, not personnel);
• Ideally you will have experience in all of the above areas, however if this is not possible then a preference in order would be still considered;
• If you come from a Procurement house then this would be icing on the cake;
• Experience in supplying to Operators is important;
• Experience buying consumables within Oil &Gas is essential;
• Able to hit the ground running is a pre-requisite.
