Translator in CA-ON-Oakville, Canada
Wood is currently seeking Translator (Russian / English)for a period of 3 days to join our Mining & Minerals team in Oakville, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities
- Read through or listen to material in Russian or English, ascertain understandingsecond of the meaning and context of that material, and convert it into Russian or English language, making sure to preserve the original meaning
- Consult with subject matter experts and other colleagues in order to understand specialised concepts and translate them appropriately
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and understanding
- Translate a variety of documents including literary, legal, research, technical, scientific, educational, and commercial materials
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or Master of Science in Engineering
- Fluency in both Russian and English language (written and verbal)
- Must be legally able to work in Canada at time of application
