  1. Exploration Support Analysts

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to provide frontline support for Landmarks application portfolio via telephone, email or chat making use of all available tools and Technical Assistance Center work processes in order to deliver quality support in a timely manner. Applications would include but not be limited to:

  • DecisionSpace Geoscience (DSG) Geology & Geophysics modules(geological and seismic interpretation, mapping and modelling for asset teams)
  • GeoProbe (geophysical 3D interpretation package)
  • Data Loading (Seismic data loading)
  • OpenWorks (Landmarks Oil field project data management platform)
     
     
    As an Exploration Software Support Analyst you will be part of a global team that provides technical assistance by phone, email, and other media to registered users of Landmarks integrated subsurface interpretation software. You will typically interface with Geoscientists and Geotechnicians at Oil & Gas companies or Halliburton consultants on assignment at client companies or in the field, providing workflow advice, troubleshooting, defect testing/reporting by utilizing a variety of virtual systems to emulate the client environment.
     
    The successful applicant will receive training on the above-mentioned applications and mentoring from senior team members. Additional training will be provided for our integrated suite of case handling and knowledge management software, to enable you to quickly locate high quality solutions to pass along to clients, and to enter your own solutions when you solve new problems.
     
    Responsibilities of this role include:
     
  • Provide front-line software application support in Landmarks Geoscience portfolio
  • Maintain a consistent client focused approach with clients and company peers
  • Investigation and analysis of product problems related to assigned software products
  • Recommend and implement proposed solutions to resolve reported problems
  • Effectively plan and manage own workload to meet desired service level targets.
     
    To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
     
  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Geophysics, Geology, Petroleum Geosciences, or equivalent relevant work experience in the industry.
  • Ideally previous experience as a technical geophysical support person in the oil and gas industry
  • Experience using Landmark applications will be highly regarded
  • Proficiency with LINUX/WINDOWS operating systems and/or UNIX environment as the role has an predominant IT component
  • Ability to quickly understand and work effectively with Global customers.
  • Strong communication skills and active listening skills will complement your organizational ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities, in order to exceed customer needs and expectations
  • A team player, highly service oriented and self-motivated.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English are required. Fluency (verbal and written) in Malay and or Mandarin may be an advantage.

2. Drilling Engineering Support Analysts

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to provide frontline support for Landmarks application portfolio via telephone, email or chat making use of all available tools and Technical Assistance Center work processes in order to deliver quality support in a timely manner. Applications would include but not be limited to:

  • Engineers Data Model - EDM (platform is the industry's most comprehensive and proven well data management solution)
  • Engineers Desktop - EDT (comprehensive and the only integrated well construction data management and engineering suite)
  • Compass (directional well path planning, survey data management, and anti-collision analysis)
  • CasingSeat (preliminary casing design)
  • Reservoir Engineering
  • CasingWear (casing wear prediction)
  • StressCheck (tubular casing design)
  • WellCost (specifically for drilling and completions, provides powerful tools to produce accurate project estimates quickly and easily)
  • Wellcat (provides precise solutions for both wellbore analysis and integrated casing and tubing design)
  • DecisionSpace Well Planning (helps asset teams keep pace with ambitious drilling schedules in complex offshore development and in unconventional plays where planning hundreds of horizontal wells is often required)
  • OpenWells (operations reporting system offers a comprehensive solution to track report, and analyze rig operations from site sourcing through to abandonment)

The successful applicant will receive training on the above-mentioned applications and mentoring from senior team members. Additional training will be provided for our integrated suite of case handling and knowledge management software, to enable you to quickly locate high quality solutions to pass along to clients, and to enter your own solutions when you solve new problems.

  • Proficiency with LINUX/WINDOWS operating systems and/or UNIX environment as the role has an predominant IT component

We are currently seeking a motivated self-starter to provide frontline support for Landmarks application portfolio via telephone, email or chat making use of all available tools and Technical Assistance Center work processes in order to deliver quality support in a timely manner. Applications would include but not be limited to:

  • OpenWorks (Landmarks Oil field project data management platform)
  • Engineers Data Model (EDM platform is the industry's most comprehensive and proven well data management solution)
  • DecisionSpace Integration Server DSIS (an enterprise-class middleware that directly accesses any federated information management solution)
  • Recall (Comprehensive data quality for borehole data)
  • Corporate Data Store CDS (provides the repository for storing definitive E&P results and corporate data)
     
    As an Infrastructure Management and Platform Technologies (IMPT) Software Support Analyst you will be part of a global team that provides technical assistance by phone, email, and other media to registered users of Landmarks integrated IT and Data Management software. You will typically interface with Data Managers and data loading team at Oil & Gas companies or Halliburton consultants on assignment at client companies or in the field, providing workflow advice, troubleshooting, defect testing/reporting by utilizing a variety of virtual systems to emulate the client environment.
     
    The successful applicant will receive formal training on the above-mentioned applications and advanced training in the form of mentoring from senior team members.  Additional training will be provided for our integrated suite of case handling and knowledge management software, to enable you to quickly locate high quality solutions to pass along to clients, and to enter your own solutions when you solve new problems.
     
    Related Work Experience IMPT:
     
    Someone with 3-5 years of Oil & Gas or Data Management industry experience with strong IT skills, that includes both multi-platform system administration and relational Database Management.  Must be able to install, configure, and troubleshoot problems on a variety of platforms including RHEL and Windows Server.  Ability to troubleshoot issues in the context of a data model using Oracle/SQL is preferred.

  • Proficiency with LINUX/WINDOWS operating systems and/or UNIX environment as the role has an predominant IT component
  • Experience supporting cloud environment (AWS/Azure), cloud technical support and operations.
  • Experience in SOAP/REST Web services, SQL / NO-SQL / General Database
  • Ability to quickly understand and work effectively with Global customers.
  • A team player, highly service oriented and self-motivated.
  • Good written, verbal communication skills and active listening skills in English are required.
  • Good people skills are required.
