Job Description
Key responsibilities:
•Identify business opportunities for the company, assessing its risks and opportunities; monitor and study the social and macroeconomic situations in the countries where the company is growing, while developing an in-depth knowledge on its stakeholders and their strategies.
•Take part in fairs, meetings and events organised by the E&P Industry, to understand the trends and evolution of the upstream business.
•Maintain regular contact with investment banks, brokers and market analysts
•Carry out business development reporting’s to elaborate the corporate strategy and update the database in accordance with corporate policies. Improve the information flow and alignment with the corporate criteria.
•Be involved in the preparation of the medium and long term business plans for the E&P area, in cooperation with the Geosciences and Financial departments.
Requirements
•University degree or equivalent, ideally in a relevant technical subject (e.g. petroleum engineering / geosciences), and/or finance / economics / business administration.
•Relevant commercial and analytical experience within the oil and gas industry, particularly in international environments , ideally in Middle East, Latin America or Africa.
•Fluent English, written and spoken.
•Available to travel.
