One of our major clients is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineer to support our global exploration team by playing a key role in the commercial and technical analysis of a wide variety of exploration opportunities in their office.

Responsibilities / Requirements / Skills / Abilities:

Generate reserves estimates, production forecasts and economic evaluations. Perform comprehensive risk analysis. Build field development plans. Present and justify individual and team recommendations to Senior Management. B.S. in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred) 10+ years of reservoir engineering experience with emphasis on resource plays. Proficiency in classical reservoir engineering; material balance, pressure transient and decline curve analysis, formation evaluation, and production forecasting. Excellent understanding of full life-cycle project economic analysis. Strong skills in probabilistic reserves evaluation and risk analysis. Working knowledge of production/facilities/drilling engineering. Reservoir simulation experience preferred. Canadian experience preferred. Ability to handle multiple assignments under tight deadlines. Work with inter-discipline exploration team. Ability to make sound technical and economic decisions with incomplete information. Good communication and presentation skills – ability to present technical and commercial recommendations to Senior Management.
