Role Summary\:
Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Department has a supportive role in knowledge management gathering data and storing them in a system. Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees and production supervisors who oversee hourly employees. Develops operational plan for the own department.
Essential Responsibilities\:
Coordinate activities of the hourly teams within the cell
Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plan
Define shifts schedule on the product lines according with, production plan and operator skills
Manage people presence in terms of Vacation, Shift Change and Hrs absence
Achieve the highest safety levels in the production line
Guarantee performance KPI target\: CoQ, HSE, on-time delivery, OEE, DL hours development;
Manage training and operator skills in order to respond to workload needs
Collaborate with other functions (i.e. ENG, UTOF, MPE) on resolution of nonconformity
Support cell leaders in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources
Define and work following Standard Works & T/T
Guarantee Quality, HSE and Compliance standard following Company Culture and internal procedures
Support continuous improvement roadmap through Lean and Digital development
Support HR Team in\: recruiting and People management within the production line
Support Manufacturing organization in Shop Tours and other Customer oriented initiatives (i.e. Annual Meeting)
Manage the relation in the workshop with the customers inspector and other functions visitors/auditors/guests
Qualifications/Requirements\:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
Relevant additional experience in Operation Management.
