Job Description

Our client isa world leader in EPC for the O&G industry. Present in 48 countries, they have a hugh assets on all continents and operates a fleet of specialized vessels for pipeline installation and subsea construction.

They are now URGENTLY looking for a Senior Quality Manager to join their team in KL, Malaysia.

Main Responsibilities:

- Proactively interacts and informally influences members of PMT to ensure that quality matters are effectively managed according to project standards and expectations
- Maintains strong relationships with the client quality representatives to report progress and handle inquiries and issues
- Ensures the project client satisfaction surveys are carried out as planned
- Promotes a quality culture on the project, ensuring implementation of best practices and continuous improvement of quality standards and system
- Leads, develops and implements project-wide system audits and quality plans as validated by QHSE Manager
- Co-ordinates a functional quality network between operating units on project to ensure alignment
- Helps in defining project objectives and metrics (KPI), ensures reporting is in place, analyses performance, proposes corrective or improvement actions and report
- Facilitates the feedback process throughout the project lifecycle to ensure capture and communication of lessons learned and best practices
- Assists the disciplines teams in the development and approval of the project procedures including QCP and ITP
- Provides quality training & awareness on quality activities planned for the project
- Participates actively in the risk assessment workshops on the project
- Ensures proper implementation of criticality rating system and surveillance for procured items

Minimum Requirements:

- Candidate shall be Graduate Engineer (BSc Eng/BE/ BTech) either in Mechanical or Metallurgical or Welding engineering
- Candidate shall be an IRCA (UK) Registered Lead Assessor or equivalent (where equivalent is proposed then evidence of equivalence from an International Accreditation Body to be provided)
- The candidate shall have minimum of 15 years if relevant experience in offshore oil and gas facility construction, including live installation with the capability of developing quality system, quality plans, work procedures and inspection plans
Nice to have:
- Work experience on projects
- Written and spoken English
- Highly IT literate including MS Office
