Our Client is looking for an inidividual to perform the role of Quality Assurance (QA) Manager ensures that quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with legislation and company specifications. This individual is responsible for managing the organizations quality assurance policies and will also establish performance standards, procedures, and audit controls in order to meet business requirements, as well as Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of company operations.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the setup and proper execution of the Quality Management System.

Responsible for the improvement of efficiency and effectivity (in consultation with Engineering, Operations Manager and Department Managers.)

Responsible for the maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System.

Ensure ongoing compliance with local, national, and international standards and legislation.

Essential Job Duties:

Assistance with the preparation of Project Quality Plans in consultation with the Project Managers.

Coordination of internal audits.

Setup and execution of yearly QA audit plan.

Preparing of agenda and input for Management Reviews.

Administration, monitoring and improving the Quality Management System in consultation with management and the instructions/procedure administrators.

Supervise as requested and advise temporary staff.

Supports and participates in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform with ISO 9001 requirements by complying with Quality Policies and Procedures and meeting Quality Objectives.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Essential Education and Qualification:

Bachelors Degree, minimum (Preferably in Engineering)

Ten (10) years minimum experience in offshore related projects

Background in HSE highly desired.

Skills and Knowledge:

Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office software and Windows Operating system. EXCEL skills required.

Ability to communicate effectively process concepts to both in-house clients and the business’s clients.

Must use appropriate PPE as required

Ability to work in a normal factory environment, including enclosed spaces and exposure to various hazards

Able to work outside when required.

This position report to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and requires the supervision of the Project Quality Assurance (QA) Manager.

This position liaises with the Senior Vice President of Project Management and Engineering.

This position requires travel domestically and internationally.
