Project Engineer/Senior Project Engineer - Responsible for delivery of the allocated package of engineering tasks in accordance with the Tender Engineering Table (TET) or package of engineering tasks on a construction project / IRM vessel campaign in accordance with the agreed Project Engineering Plan (PEP) Issuing work requests to internal technical support teams and confirm the output is in compliance with project deliverable requirements Key Project Engineering Activities Onshore: Specification and booking of suitable installation equipment for the calculated loads, etc. from internal and external suppliers Interface with Client, Independent Verification Authority and Marine Warranty Surveyor to satisfactorily resolve any comments on documents issued as part of work package Interface with OOS departments and vessel to obtain approvals for deck layouts, deck loading and issue of lift certificates where applicable Key Project Engineer Activities Offshore: Project Interface on the vessel with the OCM, Client Representative, Vessel Master, Subcontractors and Preparation of project briefings, Dive Plans and Task Plans Compilation of all certification and other records for inclusion in the as-built dossier Typical background and experience required: Must have: HNC or above in a relevant Engineering or Science based discipline Current Offshore Survival & Medical Fluency in written and spoken English qualification Essential: All Senior Project Engineers: Supervision of Design House and internal engineering resources Detail engineering / supervision, installation engineering calculations and procedures, installation equipment specification and temporary works design / engineering Procurement of permanent materials / subsea equipment Specialist technical services subcontracts supervision Preparation of installation engineering calculations and procedure documents Technical Review, Operations Review, HIRA and Management of Change processes Preparation of effective Task Plans & Dive Plans from procedures Compilation of as-built dossiers Senior Project Engineers are also expected to have robust experience one or more of the following areas: Senior Project Engineer - pipeline or umbilical installation: Pipeline or umbilical installation operations Procurement, fabrication supervision and installation of reeled rigid pipeline, flexible pipe and umbilicals / power cables Survey / Utility vessel installation engineering and procedures Trenching engineering and offshore operations Pipeline / Umbilical / Power cable testing Senior Project Engineer - Structure installation: Structure fabrication and installation operations Lift operation planning & Lift Plan preparation Procurement, fabrication supervision and installation of structures Senior Project Engineer - Intervention operations: Spool fabrication and installation operations Lift operation planning & Lift Plan preparation Tie-in and diving operation procedures Precommissioning engineering and procedure supervision and operations Senior Project Engineer - IRM: Subsea tree, manifold and controls system knowledge Saturation and Air / Nitrox diving operations, including RIB operations Types of Inspection and application of the applicable techniques Engineering, procurement, fabrication and installation of replacement flexible risers Lift operation planning & Lift Plan preparation Diver intervention operations Nice to have: Degree in a relevant Engineering or Science based discipline IEng or CEng membership of a relevant Engineering Institute ORCA II Auditor
