As the hydrocarbon industry rebounds and as our customers figure out howto operate in this economy, WorleyParsons finds itself in the position ofseeing increased bidding activity and projects that were pushed to the rightresurfacing.  With this upsurge in activity, we once again need to hirekey individuals that can join forces with current employees and lead theseprojects from FEED through successful EPC execution.  Right now we arelooking to fill our ranks with leadership positions in our Major Projects groupto work on the largest and most complex projects. 

We need immediate help responding to our customers desire for us toplan and re-plan the execution of their project.  These projects arelocated on virtually every continent and require those leaders with majorproject skills and experience. 

We arecurrently seeking an experienced Project Contracts Manager with experience in petrochemicals, greenfield,and major projects experience.  


ProjectContracts Manager

Completescontract assignments for all phases of contractual undertakings.  Typically handles the smaller and lesscomplex contracts.  Understands andapplies a thorough knowledge of the principles governing the business terms andconditions of contracts being negotiated.

Identify,solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, speciality andconstruction services to support project execution. Negotiate terms &conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery ofservices to meet objectives.  Provideagreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensurethe required services to WorleyParsons and its clients.

Operationalmanagers utilizing in-depth knowledge, advanced problem solving skills and anawareness of WorleyParsons' priorities to translate strategic direction intotactical plans and implementation activities. Guided by functional practices,management precedents, and professional standards. Decisions are typically of atactical variety. Able to develop conclusions from analyses and apply resultsto WorleyParsons' business operations. Decisions are typically based onextensive business acumen and seasoning.

Managessmaller but more complex, single function department. Responsible for the dailyadministration of company policies and processes in order for the functionalgroup to meet business objectives.

Workswith self-initiated interaction with supervisor and self-initiated technicalguidance. Influence over duties. Work is assigned only in terms of broadobjectives to be accomplished, and is reviewed for policy, soundness of approachand general effectiveness. Work is reviewed to ensure conformity with policyand for coordination of other company departments.

Managesand directs work directly or through supervisors or professionals leadingothers.

Effectivelycommunicate and take a leadership role in preparing and presenting proposalsand reports to staff and management. Ability to persuade and influence others.  Ability to recognize and resolveconflict. 

Advancedunderstanding of systems, processes and tools related to field.  Able to assist others and troubleshootissues. May be involved in the development of new systems, processes and tools.



University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.  Typically 10 years relevant experience and 3 years supervisory and/or management experience.  Typically possesses expert knowledge of at least one functional area, with general knowledge of other related functions.
