Our Client has a vacancy for a Piping & Leak Test Supervisor, based in Kazakhstan. This is a contract position.
To provide discipline expertise during the completions, pre-commissioning and commissioning work undertaken by the various Execution Contractors preparing systems for hand-over.
To provide the Commissioning ICAT Team with a technical assessment of piping systems internal condition and the Leak Testing requirements for the identified critical piping systems to ensure subsequent decisions are well founded.
To coordinateÂ the technical definition preparation for the Leak Testing activities and be the focal point for the Leak Testing Contractor during the execution of his works.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
To aid the Project achieve its objectives by:
Coordinating the preparation of the technical documentation associated to the ITT for the Leak Testing activities.
Participating in contractors selection.
Ensuring necessary HSE reviews are undertaken and identified actions completed.
Reviewing technical documentation provided by specialised contractors.
Coordinating on daily basis all Leak Testing activities performed by specialized contractors, being ICAT Focal Point for these activities, and supervising assigned personnel.
Ensuring that Leal Testing activities are performed as per technical requirements and that quality standards are met.
Providing recommendations on how to overcome potential issues.
Assisting mechanical completion and pre-commissioning teams by providing discipline expertise in relation with hydro-testing, chemical cleaning, hot oil flushing of piping systems and with critical flanges and connections integrity management.

Liaises with Technical Inspection Group and System engineers within the ICAT commissioning organization.
Is Focal Point with Leak Testing contractor and liaises with other vendor representatives as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
The job holder must have:
Mechanical Engineering technical qualification, Minimum HNC.
Extensive industry experience.
Substantial industry experience in N2He Leak Detection Testing and Bolt Tensioning.
Supervision of personnel and specialists.
Fluency in written and spoken English language.
Work experience in Kazakhstan.
Some knowledge of Russian language.

Offshore safety survival certificate.
Initially based in Atyrau, Kazakhstan in Agip KCO offices.
Offshore Kazakhstan during Commissioning, assistance to Start-up and Performance Testing.
Working regime is 28/28 days work/leave rotation.
The salary for this role is Â£650 - Â£675 GBP per day.
