KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

  • Perform regular and event driven Trade Loan evaluations based on the E&A Trade Loan Policy, Credit Policy and BP DoA by :
    • Perform Customer Due Diligence to understand the financial and commercial prospects of the customer.
    • Work together with the customer credit team to collect the neccessary financial documents from sales or customer for a timely and proper credit risk evaluation of the customer by the credit analyst.
    • Prepare, validate & submit trade loan proposals for approval and ensure that they are compliant with BP financial guidelines (eg IRR, Credit Risk, NHF, DoA).
    • Prepare Financial Memorandum (FM), submit it for approval and ensure is archived in appropriate manner.
    • Review and ensure that Trade Loans data in local ERP and other relevant systems is correctly set up
    • Liase with cash&banking teams to ensure the payments are issued to the customers as per agreement signed.

  • Trade Loan Management and Monitoring
    • monitor Trade Loan fulfilment & periodic credit and rebate calculations where applicable and preparing MI.
    • perform AOR reconciliation for customers with trade loans to ensure correct representation and is tax compliant.
    • own the process for functional assurance and business sign off in accordance to the trade loan approval matrix.
    • be able to identify key, strategic or high risks related to trade investmens and take actions together with the relevant stakeholders.
    • Evaluate and articulate the underlying delivery of actuals vs. the target (Volume and Gross Margin) on a monthly basis and take action as per the Contract.
    • Perform reconciliation between the sub-accounts and the main GL accounts to ensure that the account balances are valid and correct.

  • Understand the business and drive execution by
  • keep close contact to sales by attending and/or organising regular meetings on Trade Loan reviews and be a business partner to balance the risk and enable the business.

  • Reporting by
  • perform various regular reporting activities and ad hoc reportings in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Stakeholder management with all relevant people inside or outside of Credit cross GBS and cross business in Europe

  • Compliance with all relevant Trade Loan, Credit and Customer Charter Policy, as well as adhering with QMS/EMS systems in GBS.

Trade Loan Analyst English Speaking

If you join our Trade Loan Analyst team, you may have the following responsibilities:

In the Trade Loan Analyst role we have the following requirements:
  • University Degree prefered (in Economics or related fields) or other Graduation in Economics (High School)
  • Broad experience in finance, accounting or credit analysis
  • 2+ years of Customer Relationship Management, Accounts Receivable, Cash Collection, Credit Assessments or Financial performance in an international environment
  • Strong Business English
