Jacobs Digital Solutions team delivers efficiency across projects through the use of innovative technology, advanced spatial analysis, and effective data management solutions.
To meet our growing UK business needs and future development aspirations, we currently have an opportunity for a Graduate Visualisation Specialist within our Digital Solutions team. The successful person will become part of a respected and ambitious company with excellent career prospects and international opportunities.
The role is required to complement the progressive Digital Solutions team, and produce high quality 3D motion graphics and VR/AR for various internal and external clients. This will involve conceiving, executing and delivering high quality work with keen awareness for design, animation, architecture & engineering.
You will work alongside members of Digital Solutions teams with a range of data capture, analysis, visualisation and compliance technologies, including the Jacobs TrackRecord and ProjectMapper systems. In doing so, you will provide critical input to delivering projects on time and budget.
Working in a growing team of experienced designers, you will be expected to challenge working methods for profitability and perfection. With exposure to an expanding range of market sectors and an extensive knowledge pool, you will deliver dynamic, innovative solutions to internal and external clients by thinking both logically and creatively. Essential:
- A 2.1 related degree
- A solid foundation in the use of 3Ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite software
- Games Engine experience in Unity 3D or Unreal
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Exemplary focus and attention to detail
- Scripting related to Unity 3D and Unreal
- Experience in Adobe AIR, Adobe Flash
- Knowledge in VR/AR.
- User Interface design
- Media Editor
- Spatial database experience
- Knowledge of Autodesk related products
- Ability and flexibility to function as part of multi-disciplinary teams located across a number of offices is essential.
- Communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues
- Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to apply knowledge into practical schemes
- A focus on results and project delivery
