Our client is searching for a skilled Mechanical Supervisor for a project based in Salt Lake City, Utah. Read below for more details.

As the Mechanical Superintendent you will be responsible of coordinating foremen and journeymen within the organization. In this leadership position you will be recruiting and training staff for the company. You will be directing construction and repair operations, and supervising the activities of various systems. In your supervisory role you will be preparing cost estimates for various projects based on your industry knowledge.

You will be mainly based on site but there may be some travel in this role.

Initially offered on a contract basis, there may be an option to go permanent eventually.

Duties:

• Implementing safety standards;
• Supervising the project from to demobilization and completion;
• Providing troubleshooting, technical support and repair assistance to rig personnel for drilling equipment failures;
• Developing and implementing maintenance budget recommendations to rig and operations manager;
• Ensuring maintenance work carried out in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.

Required:

• 8+ years of Construction Experience;
• Mechanical expertise and knowledge;
• Exceptional leadership, supervisory skills.
