Our client is a worldwide supplier of industrial gases and equipment, specialty and intermediate chemicals, and environmental and energy systems.

They are currently recruiting for the position of Mechanical Engineer - Pressure Vessels, based in Teeside.

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will be working on specifications of pressurised vessels, design reviews and engineering of various pressurised equipment.

  • The detailed engineering of cryogenic distillation columns and internals fabricated at clients own manufacturing facilities
  • Delivering specification, selection and design review of pressure vessels and vessel internals, heat exchangers, cryogenic storage tanks and vaporisers
  • Assisting Lead Vessels Engineer on major projects, or performing the Lead Vessels Engineer role for other projects

Skills & Experience

Degree level education in Mechanical Engineering; chartered engineer status is desired but not essential Experience in mechanical static equipment design, ideally with good exposure to pressure vessels design Experience of working closely with Manufacturing Proven experience in budget control, working to project schedule and fulfilling integrity.

This is a permanent position.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
