My client invites applications from multi skilled technicians (EC&I and maintenance) with proven track record in a Process Industry to join a rapidly expanding company with excellent progression opportunities!.
As a technician your duties will range from routine and emergency maintenance, trouble shooting technical problems for equipment, process, control & instrument and systems to quickly resolve issues, calibration of instruments.
Daily responsibilities will include:-
Defining & implementing effective maintenance plans.
Diagnosing and analysing failures and proposing preventative measures.
Maintain accurate and auditable records of maintenance interventions.
Work alongside other engineers to improve overall plant reliability.
Perform a variety of tasks to include ladder logic modification.
Work to reduce downtime in order to ensure the plant operates at maximum efficiency.
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
A sound understanding industry standards for Safety Instrumented Systems, HAZOP, SIL: etc.
Knowledge of standards and legislations e.g. BSNN61508/61511, ATEX etc.
Experience in the maintenance of a broad range of pneumatic and electronic instruments, operation of process units and conveyor systems.
A continued commitment to improving plant operations and plant reliability.
Practical engineering skills and a logical approach to problem solving.
Action orientated posses excellent relationship building skills to a achieve results.
