Global Account Manager – Wireline / Formation Evaluation – Houston - $negotiable

My client is a global service company that work with the biggest operators in the world.

Global Account Managers communicate internally to The Company their assigned account value drivers, Product Line specific application needs, strategic planning and budgeting Contribute to growth in account business and profitable market share expansion through the direct involvement with activities such as contract negotiation, development of tendering strategies and key Product Line specific growth opportunity identification.

Maintain an open communication channel between The Company’ Geomarkets and account’s key professionals to ensure the latter will fully understand The Company’s capabilities, performance and commitment to the account’s priorities.

Clearly demonstrate to the customer The Company culture of performance and business integrity. Gain a strong understanding of customer’s strategic objectives, near term and longer term specific to Product Line. Proactively communicate customer’s strategic objectives to The Company’s business development community, Geomarket Account Managers as well as the Product Line organizations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manages executive level contact with selected clients.
  • Proactively discovers and communicates the clients' strategy and direction to management and the enterprise.
  • Facilitates visits to client headquarters.
  • Facilitates communication between client's technical services/R&E groups and business segment R&E groups to seek out collaboration and joint projects.
  • Tracks and communicates the outcomes of all visits.
  • Communicates relevant success stories to client executives.
  • Promotes the enterprise strategy to client executives.
  • Assists business segments with conflict resolution as necessary.
  • Manages social events with clients as required.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
  • Works independently with success.
  • Coaches and mentors others.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENBTS

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 10+ years experience in related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven skills in sales and account development.
  • Highly skilled in personal savvy.
  • Good PC skills and internet research proficiency.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others in the GAM role.
  • Excellent internal customer relationship building skills.
