•Setting a clear leadership example and promoting a high degree of HSE awareness among project stakeholders
•Manage daily activities of Third Party personnel
•Provide technical support to QA/QC Third Party personnel that are monitoring the inspection, assembly and function testing of various drilling rental/running tools
•Review work order with third party personnel at vendor site and review specific equipment/tool\requirements using well data
•Ensure latest quality plan is being used at vendor work sites and that third party personnel are fully engaged and aware of our requirements
•Become intimate with well data through meetings with well engineers, reviewing tool lists, reviewing well bore schematic, attend DWOP, attend rig morning calls, review 7 day forecast
•Daily review of third party personnel reports
•Highlight non-conformances and opportunities for improvement to Quality Management Engineer to be addressed at Quality Improvement Process meetings
•Minimum of 5 years of relevant drilling industry experience.
•Minimum of 2 years experience managing third party surveillance activities.
•Expertise in drilling specialty tools including: Mud Motors, Turbines, Reamers, MWD/LWD, Rotary Steerables, BHA Circulation Tools, Safety Valves, Jars, Fishing Tools, Slips, Elevators, Spiders, Bails, Cement Heads, Liner and Casing Hanger Running Tools, Wellhead Running Tools, Expandable Casing Running Tools and Surge Reduction or Flow Back Tools.
•Strong understanding of NDT methods MPI, UT, LP and EMI.
•Ability to organize and present data to drilling team and quality management.
•Experience working directly with Drilling Engineers and Superintendents
•Experienced with reading and interpreting DS-1 Fourth Edition, Volume3, API Specification <phone number removed> C, RP8B and 7K.
•Strong understanding of NDT methods MPI, UT, LP and EMI. ASNT SNT-TC-1A certification preferred.
•Strong report writing skills with proficiency in MS Office applications Word and Excel.
