    We are currently seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst to join our Australian team, to be based in either Brisbane or Perth. This role ensures the accurate preparation of business performance reporting and analysis for key stakeholders as well as providing insight to any material change in business performance.  The role is responsible for all Worley Lines of Business including Mining, Energy and Chemicals, Advisian and Major Projects.


Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide holistic business analysis across all lines of business including project financial performance, business unit performance, KPI indicators, chargeability, days sales outstanding

  • Business partnering with key stakeholders

  • Preparation of the annual P&L budget including completion within the required timeframes.

  • Preparation of the monthly P&L rolling forecast including completion within the required timeframes.

  • Perform associated sensitivity analysis on impacts and changes for budgets / forecasting.

  • P&L performance analysis to develop accurate KPI and forecasting metrics



To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to build partnerships and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient use of the most common Microsoft applications including advanced knowledge of Excel to analyse and present data including building financial models and graphical presentations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of analytical rigor and mathematical aptitude to ensure calculation methodologies and assumptions are accurate.

  • Superior reconciliation skills and ability to quickly interpret and produce analysis results. Provide clear commentary and presentation of results suitable for senior management.

  • Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail. Produce accurate and timely results in a fast-paced environment.
