Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Dismantle and record dimensional findings, detailing any fault on the report form.
Liaise with Technical Quality department during report compilation and advise repair requirements.
Assembly of complex pump types in line with the inspection report and work instructions. Assist team to troubleshoot assembly issues.
Repair of complex components including Hydraulic profiling e.g. fitting and pinning wear rings, bushes, pressure testing, dynamic balancing etc
Attend client’s onshore site and carry out duties as instructed by the client’s representatives, adhering to site rules and regulations.
Assist in the development of other team members.
Compile records and reports as required.
Ensure that all records are updated after completion of work.
Ensure all equipment and tooling is suitable and maintained in good condition.
Ensure that any modification is properly controlled and documented.
Encourage team working to improve working practices and shared learning.
Participate in team training and development events.
Ensure all work undertaken is done in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.
Identify areas of improvement to reduce the cost to the company whilst maintaining quality of service and product.
NC/City & Guilds Mechanical Qualification
VQ Level 3 Mechanical Qualification
Relevant equipment experience and preferably time served.
