Relief Catering Manager, Offshore, North Sea, Aberdeen

The Relief Catering Managers will be working for a highly regarded Support Service firm, who operate globally across numerous sectors, including Oil & Gas, based from one of our client’s offshore projects, in the North Sea. The Relief Catering Managers will be responsible for the day to day delivery of catering, accommodation, and facilities services.

THIS IS NOT A LIVE POSITION and is part of a tender that our client involved in. Should the bid be awarded, successful candidates will be required to mobilise between October and November. Due to the nature of the work, all applicants must live within a 4 hour radius of Aberdeen, where you will mobilise from.


-Soft services contract compliance
-Operate and develop soft services efficiently and effectively
-Full Health and Safety at Work act compliance
-Reporting, administrative and paperwork duties
-Staff management, training and performance review
-Ensure high quality service
-Equipment and stock procurement and management (varied, including ppe, food and cleaning products)
-Control of Food Safety & Hygiene Regulations
-Quality Assurance procedures and in operation and recorded

To be considered for this opportunity you will be able to demonstrate experience with the following:

-Minimum 3 years of experience dealing with the management of resources (people, finance etc.)
-Previously worked offshore in a catering and Soft FM environment
-6 months of staff management and HR Procedures
-Competency in Emergency Muster duties (UKCAA)


-C&G 706/1 & 2
-NVQ Level 2 & 3 Food Preparation or Five Scotvec Catering Modules (with 2 years of experience in catering management)
-Basic Food Hygiene and Safety Certificate (RIPHH) or Intermediate Certificate in Food Hygiene (REHIS)
-IOSH – Managing Safely
-Offshore Operators Certificate of Competence (UKCAA)
