Jacobs is seeking a Help Desk Integration Engineer to support a prime contract in our Columbia, MD office. Duties may include:
  • Provide engineering, analysis and technical support for the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and associated Public Key Enabled Applications Help Desk
  • Provide troubleshooting support to users and resolve issues
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
  • Monitor ticket queue and respond to Incident and Service Request tickets accordingly
  • Migrate users to Public Key Enabled Applications and assist with the use of the applications.
  • Test new versions of Public Key Enabled Applications
  • Perform user acceptance testing following test procedure
  • Provide metrics on ticket resolutions and document lessons learned
  • May require occasional call-in.

  • Two (2) years of college in a computer field and three (3) years of related experience or any equivalent combination of relevant education or experience for a total of five (5) years.  Progressive relevant training and/or certification may be substituted for one (1) year of the education or experience requirement. 
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Additional Qualifications:
  • IAT Level II DoD 8570 (Security )

  • Working at a computer or desk (Considerations: Sitting, Eyes, Hands)
  • May involve long periods of sitting
Work Environment:
  • An inside office environment (Considerations: Closed quarters, lighting, and temperature fluctuations)
  • Needs to be able to work well with and support co-workers and clients
  • Needs to have clear, concise and accurate communication skills
  • Equipment and Machines:
  • Standard office equipment and machines, computer workstation

  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines
