  SUMMARY Responsible for the Company-Owned, Company-Operated (COCO) / Chevron Stations, Inc. (CSI) Account Reconciliation activities of the following accounts but, not limited to: cash, banking, credit card, fuel, and lottery. Utilize SAP, Master Reconciliation Database and other data sets in order to properly reconcile the accounts. Prepare detailed monthly reports to District Sales Managers, Business Consultants and Station Managers. Communicate with Chevron and CSI personnel as well as external vendors to resolve issues and variances. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS •Complete Monthly Reconciliation processes and journal entries by due date for all assignedaccounts. •Prepare monthly account reconciliation templates using Excel spreadsheets and Power BI tools. Ensurereconciliation activities comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and Chevron Corporate Account Reconciliation Standards (ARRS). •Ensures the account reconciliation process meets all Internal Controls as mandated in theAccount Reconciliation Standards manual. Review and maintain procedural documentation for all account reconciliations. •Performs Daily GL and Sales file validation and performs import process. •Trace, escalate and resolve all open items in a timely manner. Ensure proper backup ismaintained to provide history and status of accounts. •Perform scheduled and ad-hoc analysis •Banking Reconciliations:Analyze daily deposit and bank statement information. Research and resolve variances. Prepares detailed monthly cash and banking reports for distribution. Responsible for monthly working fund reconciliation •Lottery Reconciliation:Review weekly statements for Lottery (instant) and Lotto (on-line) activity Reconciles station daily activity to Lottery and Lotto statements, review variances andrequest necessary actions for station personnel. •Credit Card Reconciliations:Ensures CSI receives settlement from the 3rd party card company Complete monthly credit card reconciliation, review variances and request necessaryactions for station personnel. •Fuel Reconciliations:Ensures all fuel sales captured on the POS are uploaded to SAP. Reviews and analyzes fuel sales submitted to SAP, review variances and requestnecessary actions for station personnel. Monitor new account setup in SAP to ensure all fuel sales are recorded correctly. •GL Reconciliations (Inventory, GiftCards, Charity, EBT, Coupons, Chevron Promo):Reviews station daily activity to statements and/or external data sources. Validate accuracy of data; prepare journal entries to make correcting entries. Prepare monthly journals for posting to company accounting records. Reconciles general ledger liability account, resolve discrepancies to ensure account iscleared timely.   JOB SPECIFICATIONS Working Conditions Office environment with spoken, written, face-to-face and telephone interaction with station personnel, field management, corporate personnel and external vendors SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Required: •One year of retail experience with working knowledge of business formats andprotocols. •Two years of related experience in Accounting or similar field •Strong written and communication skills. •Well organized, responsive detail-oriented and able to work independently withminimal supervision •Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, Power Suite, PowerPoint and Outlook. DesiredSAP experience. •Strong written and oral communication skills.
