Our Security Operations Team are a key component of our commitment and delivery to our Programmes, working to ensure that new and existing employees hold adequate clearances in order to be able to carry out their roles.
We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Security Service Centre, operating from our Glasgow office with experience of the following:
- Security and Vetting
- Leadership and co-ordination of a team
This varied role will involve the day to day organisation and co-ordination of the Security Services Team which operates across all Leidos sites in the UK with core responsibilities as follows:
- Oversee and conduct background screening and security vetting processes, acting as signatory for all (BPSS) Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks
- Provide SME advice and guidance on nationality and immigration status and right to work checks including delivery of training of all staff supporting the identity check process
- Ensure that the security helpdesk inbox and phone is monitored between 9am and 5pm Mon-Fri to provide timely 1st line security support
- Support local Security Point of Contacts as required
- Ensure that all required policy, processes and procedures are documented and up to date for all activities conducted by the Security Service Centre
- Co-ordinate Security Education and Awareness initiatives including the Secops Induction Process
