The Senior Project Director will have the overall responsibility for the successful planning & execution on a contract on one of Australia’s flagship LNG projects.
Overview
- With a focus on the expanding Oil and Gas industry within Australia, an opportunity has arisen to join one of the leading first tier contractors in Australia. The company has a portfolio of projects above and beyond that of its competitors. In order to continue its growth, whilst maintaining exemplary levels of delivery, a Senior Project Manager is required to join its operational team.
The Project Manager is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all design and construction processes. You will coordinate and supervise the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction, making sure that the project gets completed on time and within budget. Candidates should consider their track record in a project management environment within the oil and gas sector, preferably within the LNG project domain.
Key Accountabilities
In addition, it is important to present the qualities of a pragmatic project manager, focused on delivery milestones, whilst maintaining uncompromising safety standards. The ability to relocate to sometimes remote location projects is also an essential attribute. The Project Manager will have strong interpersonal skills which will allow the development of good working relationships with both the workforce and the client. To be successful in this role the successful candidate must possess a high degree of aptitude within the oil and gas sector and have a demonstrable proven track record in delivering successful project outcomes in the value range of $400 - $600 million dollars. Minimum Requirements
Tertiary Qualification, 10 years Oil & Gas Industry Experience, Demonstrated success in leading and managing projects greater than $400m. Large Mechanical Contracts experience. Demonstrated experience working for a contracting company is essential.
In addition to a substantial base salary, a stand alone project allowance is offered coupled with other benefits one would expect from a multi national company.
