PositionDescription:
We are currently looking for an Senior Hardware Engineer Supervisor for VECE COE team, be responsible for PSS (Productivity Solutions and Services)GBE (Golden Business Enterprise) products' life cycle management, includingobsolescence, cost reductions, and design for supply chain resiliency actions. Productlines in PSS includes (but not limited to): barcode scanner, rugged mobility computer,barcode printer, optical scan engine, voice recognition devices... This role includesidentification of product cost saving opportunities through alternate supplierqualification, product design standardization, and factory transfers. To achievethis goal, we will need to leverage your technical expertise on electricalengineering, and your innovation on new technology and design, as well as yourVECE methodology.

Keyresponsibilities:
Manage VE/CE electronical engineering team, provide coaching and mentoring on EE (Electrical Engineering) related tasks and activities, such as project execution, issue debugging, hardware testing, simulation etc.
Drive VECE activities from ideation to feasibility to projects, liaising with R&D, manufacturing, sourcing and commercial teams to achieve VECE annual goal and build sustainable pipeline for coming year.
Aligning with NPI and sourcing on PPL&PSL (Preferred Parts List & Preferred Suppliers List) strategy, develop and/or support on maintain supply strategy.
Drive EE design quality and maturity through DFSS activities, like DFMEA, DFM/DFT, DVP&R... Perform EE design review for key VECE projects.
Design and maintain common best practices and capable tools for the entire team, communication and sharing them with other businesses.
Covering components Obsolescence / Shortage issues through VECE activities.
People competency development, drive technical development for EE team growth through TRR.
Make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity.

RequiredQualifications:
Minimum bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent subject
Minimum of 8 years' experience in engineering position, designing/developing electronic products.
Solid knowledge on PSS products, with financial acumen.
Knowledge of Value Analysis/Value Engineering principles and techniques.
Solid knowledge of electronic components, electronic circuits design and sub-system design, electronic simulation, and product design. Has technical excellence on PSS products.
Experience in an industrial environment of large global organization.
Strong self-motivated and result orientated.
Strong mindset of system engineering, cooperation.
Strong leadership impact, and influence edge on others.
Very good written and spoken English, good communication and negotiation skills.
Experience multitasking and prioritizing workload.
