ABOUT THE JOB

Leveraged by the Business President, Srikumar Srinivasan, as second-in-command at all aspects of running the $1.4B Process, Measurement, and Control (PMC) business. Specific actions include, driving organic growth, delivering both cost and growth synergies from the newly formed business unit, leading working capital improvements and driving M&A pipeline targets. The successful candidate will be a world class CFO, is a strategic and agile thinker and change agent, operationally oriented, and a well-respected member of the leadership team.

You will report directly to our Industrial Automation (IA) CFO with a dotted line/supporting relationship to PMC Business President and GM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Partner. Serve as a business partner and strategic advisor to the President, leadership team, and Industrial Automation segment as a growth-oriented and high performing business. Provide insight on a wide range of financial, strategic, operational, and organizational issues. Serve as a key driver of value creation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with peers to evaluate and advise on the financial impact of short- and long-term strategic and operational plans.

Operational Business Partner. Provide mentorship to the finance leadership team and advise executive management in the development and oversight of the GBE's operating processes. Partner with commercial and operational finance leaders to provide relevant and timely analysis, metrics, and business insights that inform business decisions and drive profitable growth. Develop and review financial plans and forecasts with the leadership team to assure business performance is in line with expectations. Recommend actions for improvement as appropriate. Operate as a CFO/COO for the business.

Team Leadership. Provide strong leadership in the recruitment and development of top-quality financial talent to ensure the finance organization has an elevated level of performance. Instill a culture that emphasizes inclusion, speed, accountability, and innovation across the business. Continually reinforce a culture of business integrity, ethics, and compliance. Team size is 28 commercial finance employees plus another 20 employees in ISC Finance that have matrix accountability.

M&A. Play a key role in M&A and the integration of acquired businesses and realization of synergies. Partner with business leaders to support due diligence, analysis, negotiation, and deal structuring.

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

Seasoned Finance Leader

• Significant commercial finance experience in a global industrial products business

• Experience leading Integrated Supply Chain Finance

• Proven success cultivating meaningful relationships within a global finance organization.

• Strong communication and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.

• Highly proficient in spotting trends and interpreting data. Ability to look at data from different angles and asks the right questions to gain additional insights.

• M&A experience preferred.

• Demonstrated track record of building strong teams.

Education and Credentials

• Strong academic credentials, including a university degree in accounting or finance. CPA and/or advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) desirable
