OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE SERVICE(State briefly why the job exists)
• To provide a high degree of Insulation works to the construction and execution teams of the Balhaf Plant.
• To ensure agreed availability of Insulation by technical inspections and high quality repairs.
• To ensure that the Insulation at Balhaf Plant are constructed in accordance with the LNG industry best practices and Project specifications.
• To achieve maximum technical benefits by ensuring International Standards and Project Specifications are maintained on Plant facilities.
• To provide technical guidance to the Contractor and Sub-contractor execution teams.
BACKGROUND (Record any significant information concerning the effects which the job has on expenditures, budget, product processed, employees supervised)
• The EPC Contract, value is approximately 2,5 Bill. USD;
• The project is a multiple LNG Plant with Company Camp Facilitys;
• Experience with different kind of LNG and other tipe of Tanks (product & Watter);
• Experience with Hot Insulation like, Slabs, Mats and formed sections of Rockwool, Mineral wool, fibre glasa and Ceramic wool, different kind of steel and not-steel piping.
• Experience with Cold Insulation like Poly-urethane foam(In-situ and Pre-formed), Expanded polystyrene, Cellular glas, etc.
• Experience with using of diferent Standards and codes (EN and ASME).
• Good experience with a large Contractor and Sub-contractor staff, working employing personel of different nationalitys, levels and cultores.
SERVICE CONTEXT
• B.Sc.in Mechanical or chemicaly engineering, minimum 15 years of solid working experience in Insulation jobs in Oil and Gas industry; Knowledge of American, UK and EN standards.
• Insulation Field experience with construction and commisioning of LNG and Refinery construction systems, Tanks, Steel and not-steel Pipes and equipment.
• Some Knowledge of Company specifications, i.e. Shell, Technip, Foster Wheeler, SAIPEM, TOTAL, Saudi Aramco, etc.
• To ensure that the required technical competencies in Insulation work are sustained for the qualified and specialised Contractor and Sub-contractor staff at all levels and to provide mentor-ship for the development of Insulation technical professionals.
• Review and monitor Project constructions/ iInsulation activities to ensure compliance and safeguard the technical integrity of the plant.
• Keep abreast of all standards and contract regulations, as it affects Insulation works execution. Participate in evaluation, analysies of problems and them resolution.
• Observ and report to QA/QC Leader, Insulation work situation at site.
• To carry out regular inspections and audits to the Plant facilities, to ensure the optimum Insulation conditions and maximise availability.
• Maintain a structured interaction and exchange of information with his staff, to find adequate solutions to technical problems by troubleshooting.
• To take charge to the Insulation works inspections and specialist engineers and provide avoice to other inspectors regardind this kind of problems.
SERVICE CONTENT
• Coordination with QA/QC Contractor Team regarding insulation checking and testing activities.
• Understanding design and execution of temporary and/or permanent LNG iInsulation situations, with respect to the final requests of the plant.
• Fluent English; add language would be advantageons.
• Fisicaly and Menthaly fit, prepared to work on rotation in remote and hars envoirement.
• Good team player, responsible and able to integrate in an international inspector’s team.
• Self sufficient on the job, very good communications skills.
• Develop team through coaching and genereading ideas with his coleags and Team Leader.
• Seek advice and imput from Team Manager on challenging points of the Project.
• Provide technical and human support to his colleags.
• Driver Licens.
