Contracts Manager-Haifax

Our client is in need of a Contracts Manager for a 6-10 month contract located in Halifax, Nova Scotia. All accommodations and mobilization will be paid for by the company. Working in a multinational and multidisciplinary team, the Contracts Manager will be at the core of the project team, providing strategic guidance and support to the Project Manager and other team members. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of contract management experience in Nova Scotia or at least in Canada preferably in planning/scheduling and civil engineering and/or process industries. Qualification: -Good knowledge of the laws of Nova Scotia and their arbitration procedures -Provide support and advice to the Project Manager, and as required to the Company Management -Monitor the performance of the project team to advice areas of non-contractual compliance -close cooperation with both in-house and external lawyers
