SPENCER OGDEN are currently recruiting for a SENIOR COMPLETIONS ENGINEER to join an Operator with a substantial number of assets across Europe and Africa. This opportunity has arisen as the company has undertaken a new asset as they seek to expose significant assets in unexplored regions for the company.

This role is to ensure that the assigned well completion and testing projects are properly planned, engineered and any risk is mitigated to ensure the the wells deliver maximum value at a safe minimum cost within a pre-agreed time frame.

Role:

Develop and optimise testing and completion designs with key G&G and Engineering staff
Coordinate with Internal functions to establish feasibility of expectations and technical limitations of completions
Budget, Cost and Operational time estimation
Reservoir drilling and completion fluid selection
Prepare basis for design document
Control of the end of well report and data storage
Develop completion, testing and well services procedures
Keep abreast of new technologies
Manage and supervise the in-country completion work
Manage the completion and associated in-country contractors
Coordinate collection and review of production well data to ensure well integrity is maintained

Candidate:

Degree Educated in an Engineering Discipline
Proven Track Record working as a Completions Engineer
Technical Background in Horizontal Wells, Subsea Wells, Gravel Pack, Sand Control, Well Packs
