Job Description
There is currently multiple requirements for Mechanical Engineers from a variety of different disciplines and levels of experience to join the development team of a wind turbine OEM.



The positions available will include a range of responsibilities:



Development and design of mechanical components and assemblies

Preparing specifications and calculations

Monitoring the development of components from suppliers

Monitoring the production and release of components from the suppliers

Assistance with installation, commissioning and testing of components

Technical clarifications with other departments



Qualifications



A minimum of Bsc in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline as well as experience in the development and design of machine elements and powertrains and strong 3D CAD skills. Direct experience in the design of wind turbines is greatly welcomed but not essential.



As well, quality experience in one or more of the following disciplines:



Statics and dynamics
Strength of materials and solid mechanics
Instrumentation and measurement
Electrotechnology
Electronics
Thermodynamics, heat transfer, energy conversion, and HVAC
Fluid mechanics and fluid dynamics
Mechanism design
Manufacturing engineering, technology, or processes
Hydraulics and pneumatics
Product design
Mechatronics and control theory
Material Engineering
