Product/Design Engineer (Wellheads)

Role Summary/Purpose

• Design, development and testing of surface wellhead products using the applicable standards as API 6A, NACE, IRP5 and other related oil industry specifications.
• Support manufacturing, service, sales and quality control function groups.
• Spend a significant amount of time to control engineering work procedures and to comply with standards have been established in eTOPPS.

Essential Responsibilities

• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
• Establish the technical requirements, objectives, timing, resources and assuring conformance to standards and specifications
• Work within defined parameters to make decisions on product realization process.
• Provide technical guidance to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization.
• Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures

Qualifications/Requirements

• 10 years of engineering experience in O&G industry manufacturing environment desired.
• Experience with surface wellheads a plus.
• Bachelor degree of mechanical engineering or above.
• Excellent presentation & communication skills
• 3D modeling tool, Pro-E, AutoCAD, Mathcad skills
• Member of APEGGA with good standing.
