Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the production and maintenance of standard Electrical/Control System Drawings & BOM’s for Gas Turbine Packages using state of the art CAD design tools.
• Liaise with engineers to translate/develop work packages onto the CAD equipment Engineering knowledge/ability to develop work packages in isolation would be an advantage.
• Use of CAD equipment to develop Electrical/Control Schematics, Assembly Drawings and BOM’s.
• Management and entry of key design data into the CAD database systems.
• Writing of design change instructions (forms/reports req’d to document the design).
• Support the delivery of the standard Turbine Package designs to the production and application depts.
  

Skills Required:

• Minimum ONC/OND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Knowledge of Electrical Drawing Standards.
• Knowledge of Cable/Control Panel Installation methods.
• Knowledge of Area Classification and ATEX standards would be an advantage.
• Proficient in the use of at least one of the following CAD design tools, Promis-E or COMOS.
• Ability to operate Autocad and/or Microstation design tools would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Gas Turbine Electrical Drawing design methods would be an advantage
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
