Job Description

A global MNC company is looking for Power Area and Recovery to be based in Indonesia

Principal Role Responsibilities:

Project coordination in Power Plant in CPO Refinery & Pulp and Paper industrial sectors.
Responsible to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering methods.
Responsible for adherence to project standard
Responsible that US, European, international and local codes and standards relative to engineering are applied and adhered to, as applicable.
Responsible for adherence to project procedures and accountable to departments and project management.
Meet schedule target dates
Knowledgeable of standard mechanical installation.
Responsible to provide input into design and development of P&ID Diagrams, layout.
Preparation, review and approval of mechanical material purchase requisitions.
Prepare, or provide input as applicable for quantity take - offs, mechanical installation bill of materials, purchase inquiries, purchase specifications, bid comparisons, engineering contracts, inquiry specifications, installation contract scope and specifications.
Responsible for adherence to company policies and procedures.
Responsible for preparation of budget and be able to execute the project within budget.

Secondary Duties:
Provide representation as appropriate for project meetings.
Attend, as appropriate, meetings related role
Monitor and document status and performance in areas of responsibility
Do multiple discipline coordination.

Desired capabilities and skills:
Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
Fifteen (15) plus years experience directly as area manager/project manager on major EPC project related in the Power Plant of CPO Refinery and Pulp and Paper industrial sectors.
International project experience preferred.
Ability to coordinate Engineering work with other disciplines and vendors.
Experienced in Power Plant of industrial sectors.
Availability to transfer to site location for construction phase. And to have previous field experience in field engineering, installations, construction supervision, calibration, loop check - out and commissioning.
Knowledgeable and able to apply US, European and international codes standards relative instrumentation. Knowledgeable of ISA Standards.
Experienced and with the ability to direct and produce required documentation.
Verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
Effective problem solver.
Good decision maker.
Safety minded individual.
Computer literate; word, excel, access, several major instrument and control valve sizing software programs, etc.
